Outgoing app SMS is not included in your number plan. US carriers require app-sent SMS to US mobile numbers to use a separate carrier-approved messaging path. Today the supported path is 10DLC registration, arranged through support: about US$60/year, subject to carrier approval. Some carriers and some VoIP destinations may accept messages without 10DLC, but we do not guarantee delivery of any message. Incoming SMS works now and is not affected. We are working on a smoother option for personal messaging; there is no date yet. The registration fee is never added silently — support confirms it with you before charging.
Annual renewal at the displayed price; cancel renewal in your dashboard. Phone calls run over Wi-Fi or mobile data. When you are in the United States, an accurate US emergency address is required for a US voice number before outbound calling unlocks; 911 can fail during internet or carrier outages, so keep another way to call emergency services. Outgoing SMS is separate and requires carrier approval. Travel eSIM plans are priced separately in your dashboard.
