A simple communications checklist for remote work
Keep your work number, document workflow, and account details organized before a busy week.
A reliable routine can be more useful than a long list of tools. Set aside a few minutes to check the way people reach you and how you send the documents they request.
Start with the number
Save your MyNomadToolkit number where you can find it easily. Confirm that it is active in your dashboard, and verify your forwarding destination if you use phone service. Place a short test call after changing that destination.
If your combined number receives calls most of the time, keep it in voice mode. Make a note to switch to fax reception before an agreed document receiving window.
Prepare your document workflow
Keep the final PDF separate from working drafts. Check its page count, file size, orientation, and recipient details before uploading it. After sending, use the delivery history to decide whether any follow-up is needed instead of submitting the same document repeatedly.
- Confirm that you selected the intended fax-capable number.
- Use a PDF within the upload limits.
- Check the destination with the recipient.
- Follow the transmission until its final status appears.
Review usage and renewal
Check the remaining phone and fax allowances before a busy period. Annual billing does not make usage unlimited. Keep your account email current so you can access the account and review service information.
Use the dashboard to review annual renewal settings. Canceling renewal and stopping a current communication are different actions, so read the confirmation for the setting you are changing.
Keep travel connectivity separate
Phone forwarding does not itself supply internet access to your computer or phone. Arrange the connectivity you need for work separately. MyNomadToolkit travel eSIM remains coming soon; plan around services that are currently available.
